August 31st, 2000, MALICE MIZER holds the first of two concerts at Nippon Budokan. Featuring a backdrop of a gothic cathedral, the Roses of the First Night Reunion concert was the first live performance of singer Klaha with the band.

August 30th, 1994, MALICE MIZER's  Cher de memoire Tour 1994 took them to Gunma where they played at Maebasu Ratan. Also on the bill was Forme d'Eros. 

August 29th

 August 29th, 2003, Moi dix Mois continued their Dix ~ Infernal Tour at Nagoya's CLUB QUATTRO. On this day in 2009, Mana held an Open Memorial signature and handshake event at the Moi-même-Moitié shop at Sendai Foras.

August 28th, 1994, MALICE MIZER performed at Ibaraki Lighthouse on their Cher de memoire Tour. Forme d'Eros also performed that night. On this day in 1996, MALICE MIZER continued their one man Sans retour Voyage deux Tour at Niigata O - DO.

August 27th, 1993, MALICE MIZER held their 1st anniversary celebration LIVE ~ Se · duc · tive TOUR ~ final at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA.

August 25th, 1996 MALICE MIZER performed a sold out show at Sendai MACANA as part of their one man Sans retour Voyage deux tour.

August 24th, 1994, MALICE MIZER performed at Nagano J on their Cher de memoire Tour. ROUAGE also performed that night. August 24th, 1997, they performed at Hiroshima Namiki Junction as part of their Pays de merveilles ～空白の瞬間の中で～ Standing Tour. 

August 23rd

 

August 23rd, 2000, MALICE MIZER released the cd Bara no Seidou 薔薇の聖堂, with concepts that Mana had worked on for years. It is the first recording of Klaha with the band. Band members are listed as Mana, Közi, Yu~ki and The Fourth Blood Relative. Klaha is listed as vocal

August 22nd, 1994, MALICE MIZER performed at Meguro Rock Temple as part of their sold out 1994 Cher de memoire tour. In 1997 they performed at Osaka IMP Hall on their sold out Pays de merveilles tour. 

August 21st

 

August 21st, 2011, Moi dix Mois performed their fragments of philosophy ~ prologue ~ part of ~ Le dixieme anniversaire Series Live at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE. Songs from all releases were performed and Mana released the "Ange" short mix video for the event 

August 20th

 August 20th, 2007, Mana released the Moi dix Mois limited edition Dixanadu. The cd came with 12 instrumental tracks of the songs from Dixanadu, computer desk top tools and games featuring Matin, Mana's cartoon version of Mana-sama. 

August 19th

 

August 19th, 2007, Moi dix Mois performed at their Dark Sanctuary Show at Shibuya O-EAST. It was a joint show with D'espairsRay. Songs played included forbidden, exclude, Night Breed, Vain, Last Temptation, Perish, dispell bound, Immortal Madness, Metaphysical, and Xanadu. 

August 17th

 

August 17, 2006,  Moi dix Mois began their monthly live shows at Daikanyama Unit. Mana with guitarist K performed new songs with new vocalist Seth, with the idea of creating another reality for audiences. 

August 16th

 

August 16th, 2014, Moi dix Mois performed in Russia at the Kubana Festival, where they premiered the song "Beast Side" in tribute to guitarist K. Other songs played were Dialogue Symphonie, front et baiser, Solitude, Nocturnal Romance, Pendulum, Dead Scape, and Je l'aime.

August 15th, 1994, MALICE MIZER performed a one man show at Oita TOP'S as part of their Cher de memoire Tour. 

August 14th

 

August 14th, 2020, the Moi-même-Moitié video featuring magashi-soumen magistrate Mana-sama. Wearing a yukata, Mana administers the soumen meal with the enjoyable sound of flowing water. You can watch the video here

August 13th, 1994, MALICE MIZER continued their sold out Cher de memoire Tour. They performed at Hiroshima Namiki Junction with ROUAGE and VICE RISK. 

August 12th

 

August 12th, 1994, MALICE MIZER performed at Okayama Pepper Land on their Cher de memoire Tour, with ROUAGE and VICE RISK. Songs played included Miwaku no Rooma, Sphere of God, E-GE Umi ni Sasagu ~The Vault of Heaven~, Lafflesia, Kioku to Sora, and seraph. 

August 12, 2022, Mana beautifully returned to presenting future Moi-même-Moitié items with the "~Midsummer Daylight Illusions~" live stream featuring the "Moi-même-Moitié Summer Petit Collection". The limited viewing took place in Mana's Blue Rose House Salon.

August 10th, 1994, The MALICE MIZER Cher de memoire Tour continued with a one man show at Osaka ROCKETS. Songs played were Kioku to Sora, E-GE Umi ni Sasagu ~The Vault of Heaven~, Gogo no sasayaki, Miwaku no Rooma, seraph, Baroque, Speed of Desperate, SADNESS, and ~Zenchou~

August 8th

 

August 8th is MALICE MIZER bassist, artist, fashionista, hat designer and jewelry maker Yu~ki's birthday. お誕生日おめでとうございますYu~ki ! 

August 7th

 

August 7th, 2016, Mana, Közi and Yu~ki reunited for Deep Sanctuary V at Akasaka BLITZ. Following performances by ZIZ and Moi dix Mois, the three performed MALICE MIZER songs "Transylvania", "Beast of Blood" and "N.p.s.N.g.s.". At the end "Au Revoir" was sung by the audience. The band members were at the side of the stage in the wing and could hear everyone. This inspired them to create the outstanding Deep Sanctuary VI a few years later.

August 6th, 1997, MALICE MIZER released the regular version single for Bel Air ~Kuuhaku no Shunkan no Naka De~. It reached no. 42 on  charts.

August 3rd, 1994, following their cd release gig, MALICE MIZER began their Cher de memoire Tour with a show at Sapporo Messehall. It was in support of their new album "memoire".

August 1992, guitarists Mana and Közi decided to create a new band. Along with drummer GAZ, singer Tetsu and bassist Yu~ki, they formed MALICE MIZER. The name was their answer to "what is human?". It is a portmanteau of "Nothing but a being of malice and misery."
