I really like Elizabeth's books because she is very thorough with information and also covers a good variety of recipes. For me "Washoku" definitely was worth it and was exactly what I was looking for as a start to getting to know Japanese cooking and the ideas behind it.

Or if you look at the side bar on the right, if you scroll down a bit to where it says "Subscribe to Blukats" just click on the "Post" bar. It has a list of different ways to subscribe including through Google.

Thank you Reesan for hosting a neat round-up every month. Venus Fort is an interesting place and if you are not into shopping so much but into cars there is the vintage cars in the Garage Museum on the lower level and the Toyota Showroom next to Venus Fort.

Yeah Eiko82, it was! But I bet his Macy's Day Parade balloon will be even bigger. This was part of the Tim Burton exhibit at LACMA. Sadly they did not allow photos in the exhibit but I saw people sneeking shots. I wish it was still here and I could go see it again.
