I'm going to start off easy. This is Portland Penny Diner. Named for the penny that was flipped to chose either the name of Boston or Portland for the city.
For a while now they have served breakfast and lunch and the occasional pop-up Russian inspired dinners called DaNet which are worth going to. My post about DaNet is here in case you are curious how that fits into this diner.
Although at the time I enjoyed their grilled cheese sandwich they weren't serving dinner but recently that has changed in a big way. My next post will have a glimpse of that.
You can still get breakfast and lunch at Portland Penny Diner Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. Their website with menus is here.
