Clifton's Brookdale Cafeteria has been around for a long time. I'd been wanting to go there for years. Finally did it.

You might think it's just a cafeteria but I assure you it is anything but ordinary. Because where else would you find a shack just past the entrance?

The carved bear is just a hint of what lays ahead.

Because not far above him is a moose on a wooded balcony.

Opposite the moose is a bear fishing.

Beside a somewhat tropical waterfall.

Of course if that isn't your fancy you can walk pass the deer to the chapel.

Of course going there one needs to try the food. Actually pretty good for a cafeteria.

This was mine. Deviled salmon, potato salad, green salad, a couple of small potatoes I didn't eat and cherry pie.

View from the back to the front of Clifton's and the balcony. Which held the reason why we stopped here the other day.
