Food for Friday: Redondo Beach Brewing Company
Most of the places I try out I find by sheer luck. Maybe we are in the mood for a certain type of food or atmosphere. Redondo Beach Brewing Company was one of those mood decisions.
A couple years ago we were driving around enjoying one of those "beach" kind of days. Where you want to relax and unwind and see nice scenery. So spotting a micro brewery fit in with the ambiance we were enjoying.
Sitting near the sidewalk we decided to try out their beer sampler and a bite to eat. So keep going to see what that was and what we thought.
Redondo Beach Brewing Company has a variety of ales but one of their most popular is this blueberry beer. Tasty and not overwhelming at all. Works well.
My cohort dug into this turkey burger. Definitely was good and filling.
While I tried out the fish tacos. Definitely my style of tacos with lime and crem fresca. The roasted corn salad was also quite good.
If you ever find yourself down along the shore of Redondo Beach, head towards Palos Verdes and you might find the little triangle that's considered part of the Riviera area. Hidden there are some nice shops and decent places to eat.
They also have three other locations but I'm fond of this one because of the atmosphere. You can get more information at their website here.
The danger of doing these posts...I'm tempted to go back this week for some beer and a bite to eat!
