Kyu Shiba Rikyu Garden (March 13, 2011, Tokyo, Japan)
Did I mention the animals in the garden? Besides the koi and the carp there were many turtles and even more birds. Including one amazing type of bird that I seem to have a habit of seeing in different places I have visited not, just in Japan.
But you will have to look further in this post to see this bird.
Why if I am seeing this right, it appears to be a heron!
Perhaps waiting for a fish to swim by, this Grey Heron was surrounded by rocks covered with turtles and an island which isn't accessible by the public. They are called Aosagi in Japanese.
