This is one of many Toshogu shrines in Japan. It was built to honor former shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu. Shiba Toshogu is the Shinto shrine in Shiba-koen, Minato, Tokyo, Japan.

Closed mouth and open mouth Koma-inu guarding Shiba Toshogu Shrine.

Tokyo Tower viewed from Shiba Park (koen) across from the American Center.
For now this will be the only place I post about my trip last year.
Thank you for reading my posts.
That picture of the couple walking towards the torii is really lovely. It's so interesting to see the sacred and ordinary day life combined together like that. It's a really good photo.
ReplyDeleteThank you Caerbannog!
ReplyDeleteI did see a lot of that around that area. Couples and families going to the shrines and temples. It's one of the things I find appealing about them.
